J & H Asset Property Management Inc. and its sister company HomeQuest are once again helping to create holiday magic for nearly 90 families in need this holiday season. In what has become an annual tradition, J & H and HomeQuest are partnering with dozens of their clients who own manufactured home communities to donate more than $80,000 in gifts, gift cards, and rental assistance to their residents in need.
J & H and HomeQuest, along with many of their community-owner clients, are donating gifts to 86 families throughout the Western U.S., with most in Southern California.
Every October, HomeQuest and J & H reach out to the managers in the manufactured home communities they serve, and families and individuals in need are nominated by the manager and “adopted” by the companies and community owners as a way of directly giving back to the communities they serve. Although the companies began adopting families through local churches more than 20 years ago, they have donated over $450,000 in wrapped gifts, gift certificates, and even rent assistance to families in their own communities over the last 11 years.
“Our Adopt-a-Family program is a special holiday tradition that is more important than ever as inflation continues to be high and more people struggle to make ends meet,” said Thomas Pacelli, vice president of operations for J & H. “We’re always happy to give back to the community and make the holidays a little brighter for those in need, which is the true spirit of the season.”
