HomeQuest Orange County Family-Owned Business Success

HomeQuest is proud to be nominated for the Orange County Business Journal Family-Owned Business Awards. Founded 24 years ago, HomeQuest is now one of the largest retailers of manufactured homes in the Western United States.

At HomeQuest, we are helping to transform the manufactured housing industry and home buying experience by providing the technology for customers to easily shop and order a home online. This saves homebuyers both time and money while offering an unprecedented number of floorplans, features, and amenities from top manufacturers. HomeQuest can assist home buyers with everything from backyard ADUs used for home offices or guest quarters, to coastal weekend getaways, or larger primary residences.

A dedicated community partner, HomeQuest has worked with Habitat for Humanity over the years, as well as the Frank J. Evans Charitable Foundation every holiday to adopt families in need. This last holiday season, HomeQuest partnered with its community owner clients to donate over $100,000 in gifts to families in need. Although HomeQuest and its sister company, J & H Asset Property Management, Inc., began adopting families through local churches 20 years ago, they have donated nearly $240,000 in wrapped gifts, gift certificates, and even rent assistance to families in their own communities since 2015.

Another way HomeQuest gives back is that the company provides college scholarships for high school seniors in its communities. When the pandemic began, the company also donated over 10,000 masks to residents and provided food to struggling families.

“We pride ourselves on not only elevating the manufactured housing industry but our communities and residents as well,” said HomeQuest Partner and General Manager Shane Joffe. “Today’s manufactured homes are light years ahead of where they were a few decades ago and provide beautiful, modern housing and ADUs that can meet a variety of homeowner needs.”

Due to the growing popularity of ADUs and the tight real estate market, coupled with the company’s user-friendly home shopping platform, home orders and escrows are up double digits for HomeQuest.
